I.

The Allied Armies advance into GERMANY, The Xth French Army on our right marches on METZ; the Vth French Army on our left marches on BASTOGNE, Our 3rd American Army marches on LUXEMBOURG, with the 4th Corps on the right, and the 3rd Corps on the left .

   
II.

The 22nd Division, as the left division, 3rd American Corps, the 32nd Division on its right, and the right division of the Vth French Army on its left, marches in the direction of LUXEMBOURG. For details of march see March Table appended hereto.

  JUVIGNY - IRE-les-SEC - VELOSNES - SIGNEUIX -
HALANZY ( all inclusive ) - MESSANCY ( center) -
HONDELANGE ( exclusive ) - AUTELBAS ( exclusive ) -
LINTGEN ( exclusive ) - HEFFINGEN - ( inclusive ).
   
  Northern Boundary:
  MOUZON - CARIGNAN - FLORENVILLE - JAMOIGNE
ETALIE - HABAY-les -NEUVE - REDANGE - GROSBOUS -
DIEKIRCH -WALLENDORF ( all exclusive ).
   
III. (a) The division marches in two columns:
   
  Column No. 1. (Right Column)

(b) Routes:

  POUILLY - INOR - OLIZY-au-CHERS - LA FERTE-sur-CHIERS - MARGUT - MOIRY.
   
 

Reserve follows Column No. 1 at one kilometer distance.

Leading elements of the advance guard of each column will cross the present line at 5:30 hours, 17 November, 1918.

Heads of main bodies of each column will reach, on 17 November, 1[9]18, the line: LES DEUX VILLERS - MOIRY - MONTNEDY.

   
(c) HALTS:
 

The columns will be halted from 6:15 hours to 6:30 hours, and thereafter there will be a halt of ten minutes each hour beginning at twenty (20) minutes after the hour and ending at thirty (30) minutes after, and a halt from 12 hours to 12:30 hours.

   
(d) COMBAT LIAISON:
 

The Columns Nos. 1 and 2 will maintain touch with divisions marching on their right and left by flank guards from which patrols will be thrown out; touch between columns Nos. 1 and 2 will be maintained by patrols from both columns.

All troops and trains will be east of the POUILLY - STENAY ROAD at 22 hours , 17 November, 1918.

The march will at all times be conducted as in the presence of the enemy, and every precaution for security will be taken both on the march and when halted. All commands will be well echeloned in depth, both in billet or bivouac, and while on the march.

Engineers and billeting parties will march close behind the leading elements of the advance guard.

   
IV (a) FIELD TRAINS
 

Field trains of each column will be consolidated and, Uuder the command of an officer to be designated by the Column Commander, will follow the rear elements of the column, without distance.

   
(b) LIAISON: See Plan of Liaison, to be issued later.
   
(c)

Trains will be moved under the direction of A. C. of S., G-1. All trains must be east of the POULLLY- STENAY Road by 22 hours, 17 November, 1918.

   
(d) Administrative arrangements by A.C. of S., G-1.
   
  COMMAND POSTS:
 

P. C., 2nd Division, will open at STENAY at 16 hours, 17 November, 1918, at which time it will close at its present location.

 

P. C. 3rd Brigade — MONTMEDY, by 16 hours, 17 November, 1918.
