Photographs

These photographs are from a private collection. They are scanned from the original negatives or contact prints of photographs taken by the 2nd Engineers. There were approximately 500 photographs taken. The negatives survived both combat and the march to the Rhine before being developed in Germany. I will be posting more as I am able to restore them. They are degraded nitrate. Restoration is time consuming and in some cases impossible.
