North approach to Crown
Prince Wilhelm Bridge on the Rhine 1918 or 1919. This bridge was between Engers
and Urmitz. Built by American and French prisoners of war between 1916 and 1918 to get German troops and
material to the Western Front. It was destroyed during WW2 and rebuilt
in 1954 as a railway bridge. |
